For the road the SeaHorse is certified under the requirements for an M3 coach, which includes full roll cage, seats with seat belts and space for passengers with reduced mobility. Disabled lifts can also be added.
For the water the machines are certified under the terms of Marine Safety Notice (MSN) 1823 “Safety Code. These high standards are acceptable throughout the world.
The most important accreditation is one of safety. Many features such as ABS breaking, rollover bars to protect passengers, The Hull is fully compartmentalised with 6 compartments with an additional 16 foam filled sections within its GRP structure giving superior survivability on the water. It is a decked vessel meaning it is not reliant on its freeboard to float, you can effectively open the passenger door when on the water!
SEAHORSE MKIII APV
Our New MKIII Model Amphibious Passenger Vehicle is now just going into full production. Working closely with the MCA (Marine and Coastguard Agency) and VCA (Vehicle Certification Agency).

The maximum capacity of this APV is 40 passengers or 3,500kg of cargo. This vehicle uses a diesel hydraulic 4x4 drive system as std with 6x6 drive as an option
When on land this amphibious passenger vehicle is classed as M3 class II 4x4 - which includes safety features such as a roll cage for passenger protection and an approved design for all seat belt anchorage points. To our knowledge, this is over and above any vehicle currently operating of this type.
When on the water the Seahorse MKlll APV is able to operate on class C waters, carrying all necessary life-saving equipment.

WINDSOR DUCKS TOURS
Since 2013 our sister company Duck Tours Ltd provides a tourism service using a purpose built amphibious vehicle.
